FRANCIS MADI CERRADA
Francis Madi Cerrada is a formerly undocumented, queer writer, playwright, poet, community organizer and policy analyst born in Caracas, Venezuela and currently residing in NYC. Her work explores the intersectional dynamics that femininity, spirituality, migration, intergenerational movement, queerness, race and class, family, love and relationships all play in a person’s life.

EXILED TONGUES' INAUGURAL ARITST IN RESIDENCY PROGRAM WILL PROVIDE $200 UNRESTRICTED MICROGRANTS TO ARTISTS OF COLOR WHO ARTICULATE A NEW, INCLUSIVE FUTURE FOR AMERICAN THEATER. THIS RESIDENCY IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO ARTISTS WHO IDENTIFY AS BIPOC, OR BLACK AND ARE BASED IN NYC.
APPLICATIONS FOR CYCLE 1 CLOSE ON NOV 1. RESIDENTS WILL BE NOTIFIED OF THEIR ACCEPTANCE BY NOV 15TH.
